Your Responsibilities:
- Co-manage the financial accounting of multiple entities;
- Assist in preparing monthly and annual financial statements in line with local accounting standards;
- Reconcile accounts, including intercompany transactions;
- Prepare and support tax returns and regulatory reporting;
- Contribute to optimizing accounting processes;
- Serve as the point of contact for internal and external stakeholders;
- Ensure compliance with legislation by reviewing and validating financial documents;
- Verify and analyze expense accounts, including those related to IT projects;
- Calculate salaries and taxes, including for special arrangements (e.g., IT project collaborators);
- Ensure tax and financial compliance for international operations.
Your Profile
- Completed training as an accountant or a comparable qualification;
- 3-5 years of experience as an Accountant, preferably in an international operating company;
- Experience with the governmental “IT Park” program is a plus;
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and tax laws in Moldova; familiarity with the German Commercial Code (HGB) is an advantage;
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Elemento or similar systems;
- Structured, independent, and detail-oriented work approach;
- Strong communication skills;
- Fluent in Romanian (spoken and written) and proficiency in English.
